Marketing Specialist Reports To: Department Manager Status: Non-Exempt, Part Time
Description:

Under the direction of the Department Manager, incumbent performs a variety of tasks to support the selling efforts of the Sales Team and to help the company reach its short term and long term revenue goals.  The Marketing Specialist has responsibility for all social media activity, company website, and marketing literature.

Duties:

Under the guidance of the Department Manager:

  1. Ongoing interface with sales group providing support as needed
  2. Establish the Zacros America, Inc product brand image
  3. Create sales presentations as needed
  4. Directs inquiries and quote requests received by website to appropriate team member
  5. Develops and produces marketing literature and sales tools, updating at least annually
  6. Develops and monitors company advertising and promotional materials
  7. Prepares company public relations materials and social media campaigns
  8. Maintain and update company website to ensure maximization of content and website traffic
  9. Organizes company’s trade show and trade association participation
  10. Conducts market research and reports on market share, competition analysis, and potential markets
  11. Works within budget
  12. Develops and supports telemarketing efforts
  13. Prepares internal newsletter
  14. Profitably grow sales dollar volume year over year and continuously improve profit margin
  15. Accepts training as required by company
  16. Works safely and observes safety rules at all times
  17. Follows and carries out all company policies, procedures, and regulations
  18. Trains others as required
  19. Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • BA degree in business/communications/marketing or equivalent
  • Experience in sales preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Assembly Machine Operator Department: Assembly Reports To: Assembly Supervisor Status: Non Exempt
Description:

The Assembly machine operator is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of the work center (Assembly line) he/she is assigned to. Duties include: Set up, operate and perform necessary adjustments to equipment in assigned work center; Supplies all material necessary to keep machines operating at a constant flow; completes all necessary paperwork to record production activities. Qualifications include: Must have manufacturing experience; Must have good mechanical aptitude to satisfy requirements of the position; Must have proficiency in reading, writing and math skills to satisfy requirements of the position.

Duties:
  1. Sets up, operates and performs necessary adjustments to equipment in assigned work center.
  2. Verifies crew is performing in a productive manner. Initiates corrective action (if required) through counseling of operators and notification to Shift Leader.
  3. Supplies all material necessary to keep machines operating at a constant flow.
  4. Completes all necessary paperwork to record production activities.
  5. Trains employees and prospects in all aspects of job duties.
  6. Reports any problem to Shift Leader.
  7. Makes changeovers of products in accordance with work order instruction and ISO procedures.
  8. Performs housekeeping duties as required, including cleaning machinery.
  9. Performs troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, and completes assigned PMs.
  10. Sets up and rotates crew assignments as required, and records in operator tracking record.
  11. Works safely and observes all safety rules at all times.
  12. Follows and carries out all company policies, procedures and regulations.
  13. Trains subordinates and others, as required.
  14. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Must have manufacturing experience.
  2. Must have good communication skills and desire to work in a team environment.
  3. Must have good mechanical aptitude to satisfy requirements of the position.
  4. Must have strong initiatives to produce quality products.
  5. Must have excellent attendance and safety record.
  6. Must have proficiency in reading, writing and math skills to satisfy requirements of the position. Must show proficiency on mechanical comprehension examination.
  7. Must have agility of hands, wrists and arms.
  8. Must be able to stand at least 12 hours per shift.
  9. Must be able to stoop, squat and bend, as well as push, pull and lift objects and/or equipment of various weight, size and design.
  10. Must have good eyesight for close inspection work.
  11. Must have good hand and eye coordination.
  12. Must be able to walk through department numerous times a day and step up and down from platforms and catwalks.
  13. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Lifting can be from the floor up and/or above the head.
  14. Must be able to satisfactorily learn to drive a forklift and pass testing to secure a Hedwin Forklift drivers license.

Production Technician Employment Type: Full Time, 24/7 Operation with 12 hour shifts 6a – 6p or 6p – 6a Reports To: Supervisor Technician
Description:

Under the direction of the Supervisor Technician and Plant Manager, the incumbent ensures all production equipment runs efficiently and safely in order to produce a quality product that meets the standards and specifications of the customer and the company.  Performs all major changeovers and housekeeping duties as necessary with primary emphasis on safety.  Assists in training, record keeping, and supervisor duties as needed.  Performs routine Preventative Maintenance on machines and performs minor repairs. Performs all duties according to ISO specifications and standards.

Duties:

The production technician is accountable for ensuring the machines are running at maximum efficiency with no mechanical down time or mechanical rejects to produce a product that meets company and customer specifications.

  1. Troubleshoots and repairs minor problems on all production equipment and related machinery, including minor electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
  2. Performs repairs and adjustments to prevent problems from developing on machines.
  3. Makes adjustments to machine as necessary.
  4. Maintains material feed systems.
  5. Completes line changeovers as needed, including molds, resin and neck inserts.
  6. Performs process changes for quality.
  7. Assists with mold changes.
  8. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed/assigned.
  9. Performs as operator or supervisor as needed or requested.
  10. Communicates any problems effectively and quickly with Shift Supervisor and Department Manager.
  11. Sweeps and cleans production work area.
  12. Works safely and observes and enforces safety rules at all times.
  13. Follows and carries out all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  14. Performs all other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Must be proficient on all production lines: cubes, injection molding, assembly.
  • Must have proficiency on all related equipment.
  • Must have mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude to satisfy job requirements and the ability to analyze and resolve related problems.
  • Must have understanding of the relationship of pigment, virgin resin and regrind.
  • Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Must have a good attendance, safety record, and safety attitude.
  • Must have proficiency in reading and math skills to satisfy requirements of the position.
  • Must be able to stoop, squat, and bend, as well as push, pull, and lift objects and/or equipment of various weight, size, and design.
  • Must have good eyesight and hearing.
  • Must have agility of hands, wrists, and arms.
  • Must be able to walk through department numerous times a day and step up and down from platforms and catwalks.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and platforms.
  • Must have the agility to work in tight areas.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Lifting can be from the floor up and/or above the head.
  • Must have legible handwriting.
  • Must have basic required tools of the trade.
  • Must be able to stand at least 11 hours per shift.
  • Must have good hand and eye coordination.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing atmosphere.
  • Must have minimum 3 years production mechanical experience, preferably in the Cubitainer process.

Education

  • Must have High School Diploma, GED
