Marketing Research Specialist Employment Type: Monday through Friday Reports To: Executive Vice President Status: Non Exempt

Under the direction of the Department Manager, incumbent performs a variety of tasks to support the selling efforts of the Sales Team and to help the company reach its short term and long term revenue goals. The Marketing Specialist has responsibility for all social media activity, company website, and marketing literature, as well as market research for potential sales.


Under the guidance of the Manager, the Marketing Specialist is responsible to:

  1. Run and distribute the open order report weekly.
  2. Prepare the monthly sales activity report.
  3. Establish and manage the Zacros America, Inc product brand image, including trademark management.
  4. Develop and produce marketing literature, sales tools, and sales presentations as needed, and updating the content every 6 months.
  5. Directs inquiries and quote requests received by website to appropriate team member.
  6. Maintain and update company website to ensure maximization of content and website traffic.
  7. Develops and monitors company advertising and promotional materials
  8. Prepares company public relations materials and social media campaigns.
  9. Develops and supports telemarketing efforts.
  10. Prepares internal newsletter.
  11. Manage distribution of company Product Change Notices.
  12. Organizes company’s trade show and trade association participation.
  13. Conducts market research and reports on market share, competition analysis, and potential markets.
  14. Provides support to sales group as needed.
  15. Works within budget
  16. Works safely and observes safety rules at all times
  17. Follows and carries out all company policies, procedures, and regulations
  18. Trains others as required
  19. Performs all other duties as assigned
  • BA degree in business/communications/marketing or equivalent
  • Experience in sales preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong creative skills
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Office software and other graphic design software
  • Experience in web design
  • Excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Customer Account Representative Reports To: Inside Sales Manager

The Customer Account Specialist will maintain and enhance customer relations with Zacros clients and distributors.  The responsibilities of this position include order tracking, customer service, inside sales, having in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with all team members of the company.

  • Receive, process and track orders from clients for company products in the Order Entry System.
  • Process change orders and notifies customers of changes in order status.
  • Interface with logistics department and scheduling department to coordinate shipments to customers.
  • Updates client billing and shipping addresses as needed.
  • Upon request, send price quotes to current customers for current products.
  • Makes calls to existing and prior customers to gain new or lost business.
  • Makes cold calls to prospective customers to generate leads.
  • Forwards leads and new specification/order requests received to the Manager for action.
  • Advises customers of past due amounts. Holds future orders until past due amounts are resolved.
  • Generates Customer Complaint Reports (CCR) when needed and directs them to the Manager and the Quality Department for disposition and action.
  • Responsible for accuracy of company order entry process.
  • Participates in training as required and requested.
  • Backs-up fellow Account Reps on a day-to-day basis to serve customers.
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures.
  • Work safely and adhere to safety rules and policies.
  • Perform other tasks or assignments as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Two (2) to Four (4) year college degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in account management or customer service
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Experience working with Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) preferred
